If you are interested in marking the first National Windrush Day on 22 June 2019, this workshop will enable you to find out more about some of the Windrush focussed projects already supported through the National Lottery Heritage Fund and what grants are available now.
National Windrush Day provides an opportunity to share and recognise that many aspects of British society today would be unrecognisable without the contributions that immigration and integration have made – the NHS, our monarchy, language, literature, enterprise, public life, fashion, music, politics, science, culture, and food.
The workshop is organised by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Patrick Vernon OBE, National Windrush Day Campaigner.
