As Connexional Ecumenical Officer you will work, in close collaboration with the Secretary of the Conference and other senior members of the Connexional Team, to develop strategy and policy for engagement with ecumenical partners in the British Connexion.
You will need excellent ecumenical knowledge to enable you to prepare theological resource materials, prepare formal statements for the Conference and support members of the Connexional Team in their ecumenical engagement.
You will work to facilitate the network of District Ecumenical Officers and will liaise with the Trustees for Methodist Church Purposes in dealing with legal and constitutional matters, which require excellent attention to detail.
Salary
£52,000-£55,000 (depending on experience).
