Christians are asked to join a global wave of prayer for more people to come to know Jesus Christ between May 30th – June 9th 2019.
The prayer movement started out as an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England and has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.
Church leaders across the UK recently issued a joint letter encouraging Christians of all denominations to pray together during Thy Kingdom Come as well as join in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (which traditionally takes place between 18-25 January but some churches observe at Pentecost).
Website and resources
On the Thy Kingdom Come website you can pledge to pray, find and list events, and download resources to help you pray in church and as families or individuals. There are also posters and templates to help publicise events.
