Once again, Christians are asked to join a global wave of prayer between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know the love and peace of Jesus Christ.
Plans for this year, including new resources and ways churches, families and individuals can be involved, were launched via a webinar.
The campaign continues to be supported by senior Church figures including His Holiness, Pope Francis and the leaders of the main denominations in the UK, Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Archbishop Justin Welby, Pastor Agu Irukwu, Archbishop Angaelos, Dr Hugh Osgood and the Church of Scotland Moderator.
The prayer movement started out as an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England and has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.
