Friends of the Holy Land is marking its 10th anniversary with ecumenical services, open to all, in Glasgow on 15 November 2019 and Coventry on 16 November 2019.
The organisation encourages Christians to remain in the land of their birth by supporting them to build resilient and self-sufficient communities, in what can often be a challenging environment. It has the backing and blessing of Anglican and Catholic bishops in England, Wales, and Scotland.
Glasgow – 15 November 2019, 2.30pm
The service will be followed by a reception at Eyre Hall next door.
The Most Reverend Archbishop Suheil Dawani, born in Nablus, West Bank, in 1951 and who has been the 14th Anglican Bishop in Jerusalem since April 2007, will be supported by The Most Reverend Philip Tartaglia the Metropolitan Archbishop of Glasgow.

Coventry – 16 November 2019, 10.30am
The service will be followed by a National Conference with a light lunch provided at the nearby Welcome Centre starting at 12.30 pm.
The Most Reverend Suheil Dawani, Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, will be supported by Friends of the Holy Land patrons His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols and The Most Reverend Bernard Longley alongside The Rt Reverend John Stroyan, Bishop of Warwick.
