This year Sea Sunday is marked on 14 July 2019, but can be celebrated on any Sunday in the year, and is an opportunity to think and pray about the lives of seafarers, their families and those who support them.
Apostleship of the Sea
Resources for Catholic churches include a resource booklet, poster, prayer card, children’s liturgy, inserts for parish newsletters, video and audio. Packs will be sent out to parishes towards the end of June but are also available online.
Sailors’ Society
Resources for churches from the Sailor’s Society include a sermon outline ‘Love them as yourself’ based around Leviticus 19, Powerpoint presentation, poster and video case study.

The Mission to Seafarers
Resources to order include suggested readings, hymns, information leaflets and fundraising envelopes.
