David Bradwell, who co-ordinates the Church of Scotland’s work with refugees, has provided a round up of the work of the Scottish churches last year, together with a list of things that local congregations and individual Church members can do.
‘If 2015 was the year when the Church at large woke up to the reality of the refugee catastrophe, I hope 2016 will be the year when we roll our sleeves up and act with refugees, for justice and peace’, he commments. ‘The reality is that the crisis has been with us for years and will not be solved overnight’.
