This year, resources for Racial Justice Sunday are available from the United Reformed Church (URC) and the Catholic Church in England and Wales, plus there are resources related to Black History Month from the Baptist Union of Great Britain that could also be adapted. They can be used on Racial Justice Sunday or any time through the year.

Suggested dates for Racial Justice Sunday are 10 February 2019 or 17 February 2019 (Catholic Church) but it can be a Sunday of your choice.

URC

Racial Justice Sunday 2019 resource from the URCResources from the URC take the theme of ‘YES, to full Life for All’.

They consist of readings, notes and conversation points; prayers, responses, poetry and blessings; 5 hymns/songs, conversation-activity points and suggested online resources.

Resources have been prepared by the Global and Intercultural Ministries of the United Reformed Church, with hymns/songs from John Campbell (to be used for this one-off occasion).

Download the URC Racial Justice Sunday 2019 resource.

Catholic Church

The Catholic Church in England and Wales has a theme of ‘Dignity for all workers’.

Resources for Racial Justice Sunday, including a prayer card, reflection and poster, are available to download from the Catholic Church in England and Wales website.

Baptist Union of Great Britain

Resources related to Black History Month from the Baptist Union of Great Britain could also be adapted for Racial Justice Sunday.
