Welcome to the new look Churches Together in Britain and Ireland website. This website takes on a new refreshed format and feel, allowing you to find the information you want easily and with fewer distractions.
In developing this website, we felt that it needed to be dynamic and offer instant up-to-date information from CTBI, member churches and other church organisations where you can keep abreast of latest developments in one place.
To further make navigation easier across the site, topical issues, current affairs and resources that CTBI produces can now be easily found under new headings of Witnessing Together, Spirituality & Reflection, Mission & Unity, Theology and the dedicated Resources section. This reflects our Strategic Plans spanning the next 7 years which looks at aligning with objectives that emerged from the 10th Assembly of the World Council of Churches which took place in Busan, Republic of Korea in 2013.
In addition, we wanted this website to be interactive and encourage the use of social media like Twitter and Facebook to give you the opportunity to share and comment on issues that matter to you with your own social media networks. We look forward to engaging and sharing our views with you also.
CTBI continues to produces high quality materials and resources for religious gatherings like Lent, Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, Racial Justice Sunday, amongst others, which can be found and downloaded with ease within the searchable online ‘Resources’ section. To view past editions of resources, we have developed an online archive which can be found at www.ctbiarchive.org
We are very excited to launch this website which we will be developing and evolving over time and invite you to share your thoughts and any ideas that you feel would enrich your experience with us.
Yours,
Bob Fyffe
General Secretary, CTBI
