Inter Faith Week and Scottish Interfaith Week run from Sunday 10 – Sunday 17 November 2019.
Inter Faith Week takes place across England, Northern Ireland and Wales and aims to:
- Strengthen good interfaith relations at all levels.
- Increase awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK, in particular celebrating and building on the contribution which their members make to their neighbourhoods and to wider society.
- Increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs

Established by Interfaith Scotland in 2004, Scottish Interfaith Week provides an opportunity for individuals, local interfaith groups, faith communities, organisations and educational establishments across the country to plan events that bring local people together to promote dialogue, understanding and co-operation between Scotland’s diverse faith and belief communities.
This year’s theme is ‘Eat Share Love’. You are encouraged to organise anything from a small gathering in your home or community centre to a large event in your local place of worship, school or library and learn about each other’s faith or culture by sharing food and stories.
