A resource is available for use by churches, clergy and individual Christians to observe Holocaust Memorial Day 2019, produced by the Council of Christians and Jews (CCJ) with the support of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT).
It is designed for use in a worship setting on Holocaust Memorial Day or a Sunday close to the day. It is not a complete service liturgy but includes a suggested liturgy for an act of commemoration within Christian worship. Commentaries are provided on the readings set for Sunday 27 January 2019, referencing the theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2019 of ‘Torn from home’.
