The Go and Do action points have been inspired by the United Nations’ Eight Millennium Goals. This year we are again continuing our partnership with Christian Aid which has provided Go and Do action points for each of the daily reflections – linking into the important work of Christian Aid in the relief of poverty and advocacy of justice.

DAY 1: Together…we are called to be saints

Find out how you can tackle local food shortages. Go

Find out what last year’s ‘Enough Food If’ campaign achieved and what still needs to be done. Go

Find out more about the tragedy of waste. Go

Find out about the amaize-ing potential of how tax can end hunger. Go

DAY 2: Together…we give thanks for God’s grace in one another

Take action with the global campaign for education to ensure all have a quality education. Go

Explore Christian Aid’s work with and for schools. Go

Perhaps you could be a volunteer teacher with Christian Aid? Go

DAY 3: Together…we are not lacking in any spiritual gifts

Find out more about Christian Aid’s work on gender .Go

Buy a gift for a girl or woman in your life today, maybe even a goat. Go

Find out more about International Women’s Day. Go

DAY 4: Together…we affirm that God is faithful

Learn about the Tax Justice campaign. Go

DAY 5: Together…we are called into fellowship

Encourage the churches in your area to consider forming a church partnership to make a difference with communities across the world. Go

DAY 6: Together…we seek to be in agreement

Find out more about stopping malaria. Go

DAY 7: Together…we belong to Christ

Understand how your collection and donations for Christian Aid Week make a difference. Go

Consider switching your energy supply to renewables. Go

Get informed about what is being done and what you can do in the call for climate justice. Go

Get together and watch HOME and discuss what you can do to reduce your carbon footprint as a community and how you can take action on global climate change. Go

DAY 8: Together…we proclaim the gospel

Find out more about forming community partnerships with communities across the world. Go

Have your say in setting the next global development agenda through the MY World survey. Go
