A campaign using craft to shed light on social injustice is being run through Advent and Chanukkah by the Council of Christians and Jews (CCJ).
The idea is to create a hanging decoration inscribed with a call to action. Once complete you are encouraged to post a photo of it on social media (with the hashtag #FlickersOfHope) or hang it in a public space, to help raise awareness and catalyse social change.
The common theme is candles and it is suggested to create a hanging flame decoration.
There is a workshop guide below. Please email CCJ if you would like a workshop pack.
