EU Settlement Scheme – 27 November 2020

November 13, 2020 By Web Editor

EU Settled Status

Could you support someone to make an application to the EU Settlement Scheme?

Over 3.5 million EU nationals have made their home in the UK and will need to apply for Settled Status if they intend to stay after Brexit.

We want our churches to be welcoming spaces for everyone, but the application process is harder for some more vulnerable groups who might need some support.

In order for EU citizens to stay in the UK after we leave the EU, they have to apply for a new immigration status, referred to as EU Settled Status, by the 30th June 2021.

‘Coffee break’ session

The Joint Public Issues Team and Settled are running a short half-an-hour ‘coffee-break’ session at 11am on Friday 27th November 2020 aimed at church leaders and anyone who might be able to support an application. They will answer any questions you might have, outline the process of applying, and let you know how best to support someone through an application.

Please register via Eventbrite.
