Current Dialogue, the World Council of Churches’ (WCC) journal on interreligious relations, has been launched in a new format as a resource for interfaith practitioners, researchers, students, institutions, religious leaders of different faiths, and all those interested in the study of religions.
The journal will be published annually by Wiley on behalf of the WCC as a special issue of The Ecumenical Review, and available as part of a subscription to The Ecumenical Review.
‘We hope… to bridge the gap between the Church and academia and also cater to the widespread interest in interreligious issues across the world’, commented Rev Dr Peniel Rajkumar of the WCC, who said the aim was to address important issues at the heart of interfaith relations and stimulate interesting conversations.
Latest issue is available free online until the end of February 2020, and includes an article from Peter Colwell, deputy general secretary of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, exploring issues of race, power, and privilege in interreligious engagement.
