Inscape Animations is a group of three women who use the medium of film to address global issues such as war, migration and climate change. Through a combination of sound, image and words, they aim to explore complex ideas and challenge xenophobic narratives.
Two animations with a theme based on contemporary migration are available via their website and YouTube.
The context for Roots (above) is our shared migration story and is suitable for all ages. It can be shown in schools, churches and other meeting places. Inscape hopes it will open up conversations about how we treat people seeking sanctuary.
The second film, Suspended (below), tells the story of a Syrian refugee and his family who have been resettled in the UK.
There is more information about the films and film makers on their website.
