On Saturday 14 October 2023, the Racial Justice Advocacy Forum hosted the ‘We will repay’ conference at InterChurch House in Waterloo, London.
This lively, thought-provoking event explored the issue of reparations from theological, economic, educational, environmental, restitutive and health perspectives, and provided an opportunity for attendees to be informed and equipped on all aspects of this important issue.
The half-day conference featured leading theologians from the British churches and key thinkers from community organisations, who led workshops exploring this topic. There were also several questions and answers (Q&A) sessions that gave the audience an opportunity to engage with the subject matter.
The day ended with a screening of the powerful documentary, ‘After the Flood’.
