Join us for this Churches’ Refugee Network (CRN) meeting focusing on how the climate emergency is exacerbating the refugee crisis. By the wonders of Zoom, we will hear from speakers in Nepal, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Switzerland and Birmingham about how people are being forced to leave homes and lose their livelihoods as a result of climate change.
We will also hear more about what the churches and parachurch organisations are doing to help those impacted by the crisis and how churches in this country can also play a role in this work.
Students and teachers will also be joining us from a church-based primary school in Birmingham, whose arts-related projects explore the connection between the climate emergency and the refugee crisis.
