Churches are invited to hold a collection or soup lunch and use the worship materials, available to download, to reflect and pray for change on Church Action on Poverty Sunday, 11 February 2018. The day highlights Church Action on Poverty’s work aimed at listening to voices from the margins and making them heard, so that things can change.
Church Action on Poverty says the day celebrates the hope that we can create when we listen to people on the margins and shows churches that their support really does make a difference. Churches are encouraged to tell a story and share this vision at a soup lunch or service.
