Day of Prayer for the Media – Sunday, 31 October 2021.
This day of prayer is a call to churches to set aside time in their main meetings to pray for their local, regional, national and social media: to pray for those in their congregations called to serve our Lord in this crucial area of public life.
To inspire this time of prayer, Christians in Media has produced a new short video (above) that can be used as an introduction to prayer.
Online service
Christians in Media held an online service on 21 October 2021 at 7pm on YouTube.
This year’s theme was ‘Integrity – Telling the Truth’ and included Christians working on the front line of media, plus a number of younger Christians currently participating in a new mentoring programme.
Tim Pemberton, BBC Head of Religion & Ethics, agreed to speak, Andy Smith lead worship and Paul Kerensa hosted the broadcast.
