During January 2015, the Latin Patriarch Emeritus of Jerusalem, Mgr Michel Sabbah, presented a lecture Christians in Israel and Middle East, our present and future at a conference whose theme was ‘Identity of Christian Palestinian Arabs in Israel’. The conference at the Harry S. Truman Institute, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, examined new trends of research on the Palestinian Christian identity in Israel.

Mgr Michel Sabbah’s paper has been described as ‘extremely valuable and profound reading for those seeking to enhance their understanding of issues affecting Christians in Israel and in the Middle East…it comes from one of the region’s most respected voices’.

It can be downloaded from the Patriarch’s website.
