Christian Aid has produced a briefing paper looking at how the referendum on Britain’s place in the European Union might impact people living in poverty around the world and the charity’s goal of ending poverty.
‘Overall, the debate so far has paid scant attention to the potential impacts of the decision on people living in poverty worldwide, which feels remiss given that some impact is inevitable’, says Christian Aid.
As we prepare to vote, Christian Aid encourages us to think about how remaining or leaving the EU might make a difference to the world’s most vulnerable people.
