Churches are being called to make Friday night a time of prayer for their city by the Hong Kong Christian Council and the Catholic Church in HK.
On the evening of 6 September 2019, over 70 Protestant and Catholic churches will be participating in territory wide prayer meetings in every district of the city under the theme: “Pray for Hong Kong: Reconciliation, Healing and A Way Out”.
A joint “Prayer of Commitment”, available to download below, will be used in all the services as a united action of the body of Christ.
‘We are deeply grateful for the prayers and concern of the ecumenical church and citizens of many nations in such a time as this’, said the Hong Kong Christian Council.
