Black History Month 2024

October 24, 2024 By Web Editor

Black History Month 2024

October is Black History Month (BHM), and an opportunity for everyone to share, celebrate and understand the impact of Black heritage and culture on these shores. Akin to most years, Churches Together in Britain and Ireland has produced resources that will enable all Christians to engage with this monthly celebration in ways that are meaningful and transformative.

We encourage everyone, irrespective of where they live, to find out more about a celebration that is educational, inspirational and engaging in equal measure! What’s more, you don’t just have to celebrate BHM in October; you can use this month as a way of beginning or enhancing your knowledge of this subject matter so that you can engage with this history throughout the year.

Richard Reddie, Director of Justice and Inclusion, Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI).
