Resources were available for Advent and Christmas 2019, including the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, and those from CAFOD, Christian Aid, Church Mission Society, Church Urban Fund, Embrace the Middle East and Hope. Plus there was material from previous years: A World in Waiting – Advent hope in an economic crisis, ALTERnativity and Advent Journey with the Magi.

CAFOD had an Advent Calendar of daily reflection and prayer for 2019.

Church of England

The Church of England announced that its national Advent and Christmas campaign would continue with #FollowTheStar in 2019, including Christmas reflections available in print, email, app and audio formats.

Church Mission Society

Church Mission Society had an Advent calendar on its home page. Also, in the lead-up to Christmas it invited you to think of ways you can invite everyone to the feast. The reflective activity encouraged you to pray, give and get active to include the excluded this Christmas.

Hope

Hope again produced a glossy give-away Christmas magazine packed with topical features to get people talking about Jesus. There was also an associated website, Christmas Hope,  with videos linked to features in the magazine.

Mission Theology Advisory Group (MTAG)

‘Advent Journey with the Magi‘ provides a reflective spiritual journey into the mystery of the Incarnation which travels towards Jesus through the eyes of the Magi. It includes sections on Stars, Travels, Gifts, Meeting Herod and Meeting Jesus.
