Bible Society
The Bible Society’s online Advent calendar challenges us to carry out a small act of kindness every day, share goodwill and to make a difference.
CAFOD
CAFOD’s interactive Advent calendar has a reflection and prayer for every day.
CAFOD also has an Advent calendar for young people produced as a Powerpoint. As the refugee crisis continues, the 2016 calendar has the theme ‘Welcome the stranger’.
Christian Aid
Christian Aid has a range of resources to download related to its Christmas Appeal for people fleeing violence, including an Advent candle-lighting liturgy, an Advent colouring candle and prayers for Carols by Candlelight services
Church Urban Fund
This year the Church Urban Fund (CUF) has a sleep-out challenge for Advent. You can download a ‘toolkit’ with full information about taking part as well as a promotional poster from the CUF website.
