Christian Aid has launched a report looking at how to protect a billion people in climate-threatened coastal cities.
Called Act Now or Pay Later it quotes UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, who argues that every $1 spent on reducing the risks from disasters now will save around $7 of damages later.
The report assesses why a billion people in urban areas are at risk from climate change and looks at practical and policy solutions.
