To provide training and development opportunities for all Congregational Federation (CF) churches and their members and to increase participation.
Line Management:
Operations Manager.
Rate of pay:
£37884.
Hours of work:
37.5 hours per week.
Relating to:
General Secretary and Chair of Congregational Institute for Practical Theology (CIPT).
Overview:
The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for ensuring the provision of high standard training and development opportunities for all Congregational Federation (CF) churches and their members in line with the ethos of Congregationalism. The LDM acts as Director of Studies of the Congregational Institute of Practical Theology (CIPT) and manages the staff and volunteers involved in the provision of training within the CF. The overall objective is to increase participation and improve viability. The LDM is a member of the Church Support team offering support to all CF churches.
The Congregational Institute of Practical Theology (CIPT) is aimed at providing a comprehensive learning structure for all those seeking to be equipped for all types of ministry. It not only provides a foundation degree but encourages people to explore their faith, engage with theology on a practical level and create networks of support within the Congregational family.
