This year’s Christian Aid Week focuses on standing together to help families weather future storms – #StandTogether.
As part of the theme, Christian Aid looks at the stories of Marcelin, Jocelyne and Vilia. Marcelin and Jocelyne lost everything when Hurricane Matthew tore through Haiti. Vilia lost her mum and her home when an earthquake struck Port-au-Prince in 2010.
The Christian Aid website has a wide range of resources for churches and individuals wanting to support the week by hosting a Big Brekkie fundraiser, door-to-door or church collections.
Publicity material includes posters and a publicity kit, with photos and captions, a magazine article and presentations.
Worship resources include prayers, sermons, order of service, daily devotional, Build a Home of Hope church service activity, plus all age talk and activities.
Many resources are also available in Welsh.
